Join Erika and Jeff as they take a tour through the Rehoboth Art League. The Rehoboth Art League was formed in 1938 in Henlopen Acres which is what you would consider downtown Rehoboth Beach, as a place where artists could teach, gather, and exhibit their work.
Based in their historic setting and working in partnership with other organizations in the region, the Rehoboth Art League is a 501(c)(3) and leads in sponsoring art exhibitions, education and other programs that inspire community members to embrace the lifelong value of art.
Classes for all skill levels to students of all ages in a variety of mediums are available at the Rehoboth Art League. While we were there, we saw a pottery class and painting class taking place. The staff did a great job of wearing masks and being spaced out. Click here to see the class schedule for Adult, teen and classes for children. There’s also information on their summer camp schedule.
The Art League is also home to many events, especially the 48th Annual Outdoor Art and Fine Craft Show. As of right now, this is scheduled for two weekends, August 7-8 and August 14-15, 2021. The event really highlights how special their campus is as you are able to see the beautiful grounds of the art league. To learn more about this event, click here.
