We are proud to have been awarded the 2024 Delaware Governor’s Conservation Award from the Delaware Association of Conservation Districts for thoughtful design and purposeful conservation of Tower Hill in Lewes, Delaware.

Tower Hill is the first community of this scale in Sussex County to begin meadow installation and seeding during the site construction phase. It is anticipated that 30 acres of native wildflowers and grasses will be seeded, amounting to nearly half of the entire open space within the community. The project was a statewide collaboration with the Sussex Conservation District and the University of Delaware.
